Ungrounded

How often do you find yourself here? Needing a reset? A chance to think, process? Me… quite often.

For example, I have done a really bad job at maintaining my goal to blog once a month. It doesn’t sound that difficult, however I have struggled to achieve this goal, often need major motivation and focus to get it done. I realize I cannot dwell on it, it is what it is and have to understand life isn’t about the blog. My experiences with our family living with rare disease often reminds me that I have so much to share however when the time comes to put it into words it escapes me. I’ll get better at it and usually need some grounding, some self character building, possibly an uncomfortable experience to make this happen.

What is important for me is finding energy in the journey. It is often long, frustrating, makes you sad at times even down right frightening. Don’t be afraid to Stop, take a moment or two, look around you and observe. Then take a time away from the grinding and reset. Vulnerability can lead to strength and open mindedness. Things we must definitely need along any journey.

Be Well!
