Carry On
It’s been a decade now living, experiencing, growing and following our rare disease path. It’s not easy by any means nor would I change it for it’s become us and who we are as a family. I need not explain all the details but over that time it seems to have taken it’s toll. Mentally, Physically, Socially ( COVID done a good job with that as well ), our “new” normal has meant less energy to cultivate my creative fire, hence spending less time doing social media, blogging, etc. However, on the positive side I have changed my job which requires less travel and have been able to spend more time with family and my youngest son Shane. This has been a blessing in disguise for prior to this time we were never able to enjoy New England wintertime fun that all kids should experience. Laughter as we swish down a snow covered hill, a slightly terrified look as we knife across the ice rink on a single blade or that quiet and tranquil experience of sliding the skinny skis across new fallen blanket of snow. These are things that have WAY more impact in the long run.
Take care of you, take care of your kiddos, Be Well!
