Partners in Rare Disease
As part of our mission at Vermont Rare, it is our objective to raise awareness in support of patients and families who live with rare disease.
That means supporting other organizations with a similar goal.
Here are some of the organizations Vermont Rare helps support.
Million Dollar Bike Ride
The Million Dollar Bike Ride brings over 750 cyclists and volunteers to Penn’s campus to ride either 13, 34, or 72 miles starting in the city, and ranging across the Greater Philadelphia region. In six years, the MDBR’s 30+ teams have raised over $14 million to fund research grants on the diseases they represent. The ODC ensures that 100% of the funds raised goes towards these pilot grants, with no overhead taken out.
RASopathiesNet
Our mission is to advance research of the RASopathies by bringing together families, clinicians and scientists.
RASopathiesNet is the product of RASopathies Network USA, a 501c3 Non-Profit, and the RASopathies Network UK.
Our goal is to grow a community of practice around RASopathies research.
CFC International
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with CFC Syndrome and their families through support, research, and education.
I Stay Home for Rare
The aim of “I Stay Home for Rare” is to present a dignified perspective of individuals living with rare diseases, which conveys the unique wisdom and beauty they carry.
Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth
As New Hampshire's only children's hospital, the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) provides an extended system of care that offers advanced pediatric services.
