Million Dollar Bike Ride

SATURDAY, June TBA, 2020
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Million Dollar Bike Ride brings over 600 cyclists and volunteers to Penn’s campus to ride either 15, 34, or 74 miles starting in the city, and ranging across the Greater Philadelphia region. In four years, the MDBR’s 20+ teams have raised over $7.5 million to fund research grants on the diseases they represent. The ODC ensures that 100% of the funds raised goes towards these pilot grants, with no overhead. In 2018 our team, RASopathies Riders, was granted $74k for RASopathies.

A passionate cyclist broadening the connection between cycling, community, and Rare Disease. I started this endeavor five years ago and have been a passionate cyclist with a cause.  Searching for answers, research dollars, educating himself as well as others is one of his top priorities for Shane his youngest son who suffers from a rare genetic disease.  So if you too are passionate about something; enjoy the connection between cycling and community, do things with a purpose and are excited about a new challenge, come join us!

Cycle & Slalom

June 13-23 2020

My love of cycling, skiing, coaching, building relationships, whole body well being and the Austrian Alps makes this dream of mine a reality. I’d love to share with you the same mountain roads, training slalom on Hintertux glacier that I have had the opportunity to participate in over the years. So I have decided to bring you there, show you the routes, give you the tools to enhance your slalom, enjoy each others company while staying in a 4 star hotel, in a small mountain village all within a 3 hour drive from Munich and 1.5 from the historic Austrian city of Innsbruck.
