Just Show Up

Ever feel like you have had enough? Overwhelmed, insecure, unconfident? I’d say it happens a lot along the rare disease journey. Whether your a parent, patient, caregiver, advocate, sibling I am sure you have found yourself feeling like this once or twice. But what happens time and time again… you have no choice, you just roll with the punches thrown, you make a commitment to that marathon, dig your heels in and keep going.

So many challenges that the rare disease community must face every day. For me keeping my legs spinning on the bike when I am feeling derailed, a tough go and remember ….

Sometimes the Bravest and most important thing to do is just Show Up!
